[OPTIPIE]
Data Vizualisation Interaction Design
Optipie is an app designed to support individuals transitioning out of therapy. It is introduced shortly before the end of therapy and provides a gentle transition from therapeutic care. Optipie allows former patients to assess their well-being, reinforce positive habits, and improve their overall quality of life.
Well-being is evaluated across three key life domains: tasks, relationships, and emotions. The initial assessment generates the first "blob," reflecting the user's starting well-being.
In a second assessment, two selected habits are included. These habits are tracked through intuitive data entry, which generates the second well-being "blob."
Both blobs are saved and can be viewed and analyzed independently or compared with one another. The color of each day's blob is determined by the user's daily emotional state, based on the theory of Linda Mitterweger.
- Cyan represents fear,
- Magenta stands for anger,
- Yellow symbolizes joy, and
- Black reflects sadness
Using a CMYK color system, emotional tracking is conducted to generate a specific color representing the current emotional state. This color is then applied to the blob, providing a visual representation of the user's well-being.
